hey, i'm fractyl and i like to make stuff.

i live in new zealand and i have been programming since i was 7 years old.
i make games in JavaScript, Idle Game Maker and whatever else i feel like making games in.

this website is a personal project of mine that i've been developing since August of 2023.
before that, i had a terrible github site.
before that, i made clicker games in idle game maker.
and before that, i made games in scratch and hopscotch.
and before THAT, i was in kindergarten and didn't know what programming was.

this site used to look a lot different. if you want to know how this site used to look, check out projects.html, a page that was basically what the stuff.html page is now, except i stopped updating it. it uses the old style.css file, which i used until September 2023.
i redesigned the homepage to a design that was very similar to the current one, but there were several lists of links to all the stuff i made, instead of just a link to the main pages like now. after the stuff page was mostly complete the links were removed from the home page.

my favourite things

my favourite game is minecraft. i also like terraria, portal, raft, among us, and the best game of all time.

my favourite movie is probably interstellar. when i was younger i liked the lego movie and tomorrowland.

my favourite musician is lemon demon. about a third of my spotify playlist is just his music. idk why

the fonts i use are available on the fonts page.
the stuff page icons are drawn in 64x64 but upscaled to 512x512 for some reason. feel free to use the blue window border i use on the homepage and other pages for your own sites if you like. you can hotlink that. it isn't using my bandwidth. also feel free to use sixteend, columns and the old minimega for whatever you want. sixteend sucks but the others aint half bad. for anything else contact me via discord or something idk
